Known issues

We understand that some issues have been listed in previous Xbox Insider patch notes. These items are not ignored, but it will take more time for Xbox engineers

to find a solution

.

We are still tracking these known issues:

Audio

Some users have reported hearing no sound with Dolby Atmos enabled.

We have received reports of problems with the Astro A50 headset not working properly.

Dolby Vision for Gaming

Some TVs do not currently support 120Hz Dolby Vision and will fall back to 60Hz or HDR. We are working closely with TV manufacturers to update firmware support for Dolby Vision capabilities. Go to Settings > General > TV & Display Options > 4K TV Details and find “Your TV configuration supports Dolby Vision”.

Users may notice that some titles such as Mass Effect: Legendary Edition may drop support for Dolby Vision for Gaming after initial release. This is expected when the feature is in preview.

Some users have reported that Dolby Vision is not working as expected.

Remark:

If you are having a problem, be sure to check the following:

Make sure the TV has the latest firmware

Use the Xbox-provided HDMI cable that was included with the console

Connect the TV directly to the Xbox and try to see if the problem persists (i.e. the new version of the browser is not available to Alpha users at this time. When the browser becomes available for Preview to Alpha, we'll be sure to inform users.

We have received reports of controller input not working when a game is launched.

Solution:

Restart the console and launch the game again.

Guide

We are investigating reports that the audio mixer is unable to adjust chat/game audio levels.

We have received reports that HDMI-CEC is not working properly.

Note:< /p>

Make sure your TV supports HDMI-CEC and is also enabled before submitting comments.
