What if I already own an Arctis?

A simple rule is that if your current Arctis already works with Xbox One or PlayStation 4, then it will be compatible with the respective next-gen console.

What if I'm having audio issues with my Arctis 9X on my Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S?

When using a headset with Xbox Wireless (like the Arctis 9X), audio issues may occur when the controller is idle for a period of time. This is a known issue between the Xbox Series X|S and the next-gen controller. Microsoft is currently working on a fix and will update the system when it's ready. In the meantime, a workaround is to use an Xbox One controller with the Series X|S.

: As of November 30, 2020, Microsoft has released a console update that should resolve this issue.

All Arctis headsets will work with these surround sound technologies on next-gen Xbox. Note that Dolby and DTS features may require additional purchase.

Why does my headset sound different on PS5 and PS4?

The PS5 has its built-in 3D audio enabled by default. This provides simulated surround sound for earphones/headphones, but it also colors the sound of the audio. To disable 3D audio, navigate to:
