Samsung Galaxy Unpacked Event: South Korean tech giant Samsung recently announced the date of its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event. The smartphone brand has scheduled the Galaxy Unpacked event for August 11. The company will launch foldable smartphones - Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy smartwatches and headphones at the event.
Samsung will unveil visionary and purposeful mobile technology with a focus on open ecosystems that will accelerate innovation and give people more freedom to create their own experiences, the company said.

“We are going to launch our latest and greatest Galaxy Z series to reshape the smartphone category and completely reinvent your experiences,” said TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile Communications Business, Samsung Electronics, in a statement.
Hinting at the launch of two new foldable smartphones on August 11, Dr Roh said the Z Fold will combine the best of smartphones and tablets, while the Z Flip will feature an even more refined style, armed with more durable materials and more solid.
"We're ready to reach new heights and open up a whole new world of exciting experiences for even more people. I hope you'll join us as we launch our next Galaxy Z family and share foldable surprises, including the first-ever S Pen specifically designed for foldable phones," he added.
Dr. Roh said Samsung is working with Google to enrich foldable ecosystems with popular apps and services. "For our third generation of Galaxy Z phones, we've lined up even more partner apps that make the most of the foldable format. From hands-free optimized video calling with Google Duo and watching Flex Mode videos on YouTube to multitasking in Microsoft Teams, our foldable ecosystem will deliver a wealth of seamless and optimized experiences,” he said.
Samsung has worked with trusted industry leaders like Google and Microsoft to deliver secure mobile technology optimized for today's fast-paced, interconnected world.
“We constantly work with key partners to create industry-leading security solutions that protect your devices and data every step of the way. This allows us to give you even more control over your apps, data and privacy, so you can organize your own experiences – with complete peace of mind,” he added.
Talking about Samsung's recent collaboration with Google to develop the new unified wearable platform, Dr. Roh said the One UI Watch user interface is deeply integrated with other Galaxy devices and provides consistent connectivity between the Galaxy Watch and the Galaxy smartphones.
