Method 1: Check your microphone device settings

Now that your headset's microphone is enabled and set as the default device, and you've turned up your microphone volume, give it a try and see if it works. If so, then you have solved the problem.

Method2: Update your audio drivers

Your Turtle Beach headset's microphone will not work if you are using an incorrect or outdated audio or headset driver. So you need to update the driver to see if that fixes the problem.

You can update your driver manually or automatically. The manual process is time-consuming, technical, and risky, so we won't cover it here. We also don't recommend it unless you have excellent computer knowledge.

Updating your driver automatically, on the other hand, is very simple. Just install and run

Driver Easy

, and it will automatically find all devices on your PC that need new drivers and install them for you. Here's how to use it.

1)

Download

and install

Driver Easy

.< /p>

2)

Run

Driver Easy

and click on

Scan Now

button.

Driver Easy

will scan your computer and detect problematic drivers.

3)

Click on the

Update

button next to your audio device or headset to download the latest and correct driver.

You can also click on the

Update all

at the bottom right to automatically update any outdated or missing drivers on your computer. (This requires the version

Pro

- if you don't already have it, you will be prompted to upgrade when you click

Update All< /p>

.)

Once you've updated your Turtle Beach headset driver, restart your computer. Then connect again and see if the microphone is working.

Method3: Troubleshoot hardware issues

If your headset's microphone still isn't working, it's likely that there are hardware issues with your computer or your headset. In this case, there are a few things you need to do.

First, try connecting your headset to

another port

on your computer. This will fix any issues you may have due to the port you are using.

If changing the port doesn't work for you, connect your headset to

another computer

and see if that fixes your microphone. If so, contact your computer vendor for advice.

If none of the above helps, the issues may be with your headset. Then you should contact Turtle Beach for assistance or to have your headset repaired.
