Plantronics - Voyager 5200 (Poly) - Over-the-Ear Bluetooth Headset (Monaural) - Compatible to connect to cell phones - Noise reduction
I've been with Plantronics 5200 for over 6 months and can tell you the biggest benefit is the external noise cancellation, it works great ;I tried it with an app that records audio and I also asked my wife if she could guess where I was, she will never be able to figure it out. When I have work conferences in webex I can leave the microphone on and they never ask me to mute it because it does not generate noise. In conclusion, the calls are really only focused on what I am saying. I have detected that the noise cancellation takes about 3-4 seconds to clear from the start of the call, I guess this is the time it takes to "process" the external noise The design is another good quality, compared to other handsfree I dare say it's the best. However, in this attribute it doesn't there's not much to say, it's up to everyone's discretion and taste. As for the hearing aid, I can compare it with a Motorola 155 that I bought a long time ago and with Plantronics 5200 I never stop listening to what they tell me, no matter how loud; In the case of the Motorola 155, I could stop listening to the message if there was a lot of noise. By accident, I fell from a distance of about 1 meter and had a slight crack in the part microphone. I was hoping that for the price I paid ($2000) the quality of the materials would withstand crashes like this. I consider that a point against. There are times when I'm on call I look down to check something on the PC or iPad and it disconnects, I guess it's a software problem and I hope they fix it with an update. is comfortable to use, at one point I used it for long periods of 3-4 hours and it can be uncomfortable, but the same happened with the Motorola 155. I prefer to use it only when i will make or receive calls and take it out of my ear when i don't need it the battery works but i have read that some Jabra offer more than 7-8 hours, in the case of Plantronics 5200 it lasts 4-5 hours of use, this has made me rely a bit more on constant charges while I'm traveling in the car or there's a case that charges it while it's stored but they sell it separately. Yes , I recommend it. To make the decision to buy it, I did an exhaustive research and due to the attributes it offers, I feel that it is the best that exists in the market. I hope that the quality-price ratio will allow me to use it longer than the average, I bought it on Amazon because in other In stores it cost up to 2,700. It arrived almost a week later but it was worth the 700 pesos I saved. The problem with Amazon deliveries is that they give you a very wide range of delivery, so we wasted the day waiting for it to arrive. I don't know if with Prime you can choose what time it arrives, but they might reduce its delivery range. Finally I want to say that at the time I bought it they were announcing the new apple air pods and although I don't think they are removing the audio Same as Plantronics I think they are a competitor interesting potential; especially for the software-hardware integration that characterizes Apple so well. The Plantronics 5200 software-hardware integration seems bad and outdated to me, I hope to see better models in the future.
