Even though the Oculus Quest has been out for just over a year now, fans have already turned their attention to its successor, the Oculus Quest 2, which promised an even more enhanced VR experience and ships in October 2020. new VR headset that might entice fans to stick with their trusty Quest, which in addition to not costing as much, comes with plenty of exciting new perks.

WATCH MOVIES AND TV

Users who spend a lot of time frenetically watching TV and movies will love the Oculus Quest for its ability to interface with all major streaming services, like Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Hulu. If users have SlingTV, they can watch all of its content on a giant 180-inch screen.

Users can also watch media stored on their Oculus Quest headset, or stream content of their choice using the SKYBOX VR app. Catch a screening with friends in one of the many virtual cinemas and enjoy the same movie together (but separately). All content is viewed on a huge virtual screen!

In case fans don't need another reason to keep using their Oculus Quest, the original doesn't require them to log in using their Facebook account. Its successor, the Oculus Quest 2, makes it a mandatory process,

which left many fans unhappy

because if their account is not in good standing, they cannot access their own games.

Once logged into their Facebook account, fan activity will be tracked and logged, presumably under the guise of helping to make their experience more interactive and enjoyable, but many fans believe this is simply invasive.
