AT&T & T-Mobile Galaxy S9 September Updates Deliver Night Camera Mode
Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ are among the devices the Korean company will update to the latest One UI 2.0 custom scales based on Android 10.
The company started rolling out the first Android 10 beta on the Galaxy S10 series in Europe some time ago, but there are reports from Korea that the launch has been delayed for unknown reasons.
A UI 2.0 beta for the US Galaxy S10 is coming soon
Upon recovery, those using Galaxy S10, S10e, and S10+ variants sold through Sprint and T-Mobile may be eligible to try Android 10 on their devices. The update will also be available for unlocked variants in the US, but no space for AT&T and Verizon variants.
The first version of the One UI 2.0 beta will also miss the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+, but some sections claim that the duo will join the party of the second One UI 2.0 beta update in the future.
Away from Unknown is good news for Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ users on T-Mobile and AT&T. The former recently requested an update to both S9 handsets with the July security updates and missed the security updates in August.
In the latest update, T-Mobile jumped the August patch straight to the new September patch and even though it's not the last October patch, it offers a really cool camera feature - dedicated night mode support.

The update has been confirmed for release

for S9+. The update weighs over 772MB and hardly mentions anything in the official changelog.

While someone at AT&T says the latest update adds Night Mode to their Galaxy S9 camera, they haven't shared the new version of the software in question. On AT&T's Software Support Page , however, the latest September update contains software releases
G960USQS6CSH7 (S9)
and
G965USQS6CSH7 (S9+)
.
Galaxy S9 and S9+ September update on AT&T weighs
185 MB
, which is a fraction of the T-Mo update for the same devices. Surely, the latest devices are expected to get more improvements and maybe some new features over the previous models.
AT&T and T-Mobile are now joining the style of the Verizon and Sprint models in the updated security update in September, as well as support for the dedicated night camera mode.
