Installing the camera using Internet Explorer 11

Installing the web-viewer plugin

In some cases, when connecting to Hanwha/Samsung network cameras using IE-11, some IE-11 settings may need to be changed. p>

After trying to install the web-viewer plugin, I get a message like the one below repeatedly

A light plug-in installation message like the one below is also displayed every time the user logs into the camera setup menu.

A reinstallation request occurs because the silver-light version supported by Internet Explorer 11 is different from the silver-light version provided by the camera firmware

Remedy for Repeated Web-viewer Plugin Issue

(Configuration changes Internet Explorer 11)

Change document mode to 10 or 7 (Windows 7 & 8.1)< /p>

Change the Document mode and user agent string settings like the following image below when the installation screen appears after connecting the camera

"F12 → Ctrl+8" or "F12 → click the icon in the lower left"

Document mode: select "10 or 7"

Enter the address in the address bar to access the camera and

nd check the video

Also, check that in the Internet options the item "Enable enhanced protected mode" is not checked in Windows

- Menu location: The top menu → Tools → Internet Options → Advanced p>

Other Internet Explorer 11 considerations

The above steps must be modified for each user and each camera.

Compatibility mode needs to be added for each camera separately: p>

"Tool → Compatibility View Settings" add to list

The Full Screen" function of the Surveillance menu does not work or the configuration screen has no video

(Plugin installation is displayed when you click the button)

Silver-light plugin issue

A higher version of Silver-lite is required
