How does he feel ?

There are generally two things you look for in a helmet, and one of those things is how it feels. Many reviews I've seen of the Cloud Stinger claim that the helmet is incredibly comfortable and actually the best part of the headset I also found that to be the case as this budget headset is surprisingly comfortable and actually more comfortable than some $400 headsets I've tried, at least in terms of comfort long term. The earbuds are effectively cushioned, so they don't put your ears in contact with the speakers, resulting in much less ear pain after hours of use. The only thing I noticed, it's that after a little while my ears start rubbing against the back of the cushion, which hurts the back of my ear a bit. The most important thing, and usually the biggest problem i had with the earphones, is the protection of the headband. i've used a lot of headphones in my gaming career, and for some reason the headband almost always becomes an issue after a few hours - or even minutes - of use. However, after using the HyperX Cloud Stinger for a little moment now, I've had absolutely no issues with the headband...so far. my whole head.I'm really impressed with how

HyperX

managed to do it with a $50 headset.

How does it sound?

The second thing people typically look for in a headset is sound. Obviously, the HyperX

Cloud Stinger

doesn't have the

the biggest

sound all the time; it's a $50 headset, you won't get audiophile levels of sound quality here. However, for $50 you'd be hard pressed to find anything that sounds better than the Cloud Stinger. The biggest problem I've found with cheap headphones is that they all sound pretty thin and empty. Without bass to back up the sound, then everything you listen to will sound empty and you won't get that "oomph". that you would get with other headphones somehow the Cloud Stinger doesn't really have that problem, if you're looking for bass levels for the subwoofer you obviously won't find it here but for the demographic this headset is marketed for, they sound great. I will say that the swing-to-mute mic is incredibly obnoxious because every time you raise or lower the mic, there's a very audible click in your left ear. I understand it's probably a mute/unmute switch, but if it Is there a way to remove it entirely and replace it with something else, that would be

worlds

better.

Is it worth your money?

So what's the final verdict? Is the HyperX Cloud Stinger worth your money? Well, I'd say it entirely depends on how much you're willing to spend on a headset. If you're not really looking to spend more than $50 for a pair of headphones, then the Cloud Stinger is absolutely a perfect choice. If you have a little more budget to spend and are ok with spending a little more, then you can definitely upgrade.
