Brookstone Cat Ear Wired Headphones
These headphones are well worth the amount of money I've spent (at least so far as I just received them about an hour ago). I purchased them specifically from Hummingbuy at around $45-50 $ (basic price) (I needed the cheapest because I had to buy things for school and my cat as well), and they do their job. I'm sure since I paid for shipping standard (projecting the shipping time between March 5 and March 8), the shipping time was affected, but it took three business days to arrive.Being one of those people who can't wait for their(s) ) package arrive(s) and who think about it on a daily basis, I applaud the speed of dispatch that has been put in place. • Miscellaneous to note: -My package seemed a little falsified (the packaging in which the headphones were , not the outside box the outside world handles when shipped here), but everything works fine. -I haven't used the mic or cable yet. ble charging, so I can't rate them. Headphones are charged (at least partially), so I assume battery life is ok.-I don't intend to use them for gaming ;listening to music was the intended purpose when ordering, so I can't really give advice/rating on how well they work when gaming. -The audio cord connecting the headphones to whatever you plan to put them on plug in (in my case my phone) is a good length. My only complaint is that the controller (the part that has the volume control and pause button) is about halfway between the headphones and the item you're connecting them to, which bothers me a bit. The plug-in area for the cord is on the left side of the headphones, whereas I'm used to having the mine on the right. I also heard that the controller doesn't work on Android phones, but I have an Apple, so I don't know.-The headphones are big and bulky. The over-ear parts are relatively large compared to my head and ears, but I still have a small head and ears. The headphones are bulky, which means they are bulky when put around your neck, and they will take up space if you plan to put them in a bag to take them with you, especially if you are responsible and put them in their carrying case. before hand (which I would recommend doing).-The carrying case is a zippered hard case, which is good for protecting the headset and accompanying items.-The earphones hurt after being worn for an extended period of time.-For those wondering, no, these headphones are not Bluetooth and must be used with wire. However, I have heard that there is an updated version of these Bluetooth headphones. • Sound Quality: -Over-ear part: The sound quality is top notch, not going to lie. It is not static and the music is well represented (all sounds can be heard). It is not necessary turn up the volume too high to block the sound or to hear what you're listening to (“not too high” meaning less than halfway), but if you're in a quiet place and you remove your headphones, the sound may be heard from your on-ear section (as expected). I'd give this section 5 stars. -External speakers: They work pretty well. No static in this area either, and sounds can be heard at a Quite low volume. I would also give this section 5 stars. • Quality of materials (overall): the plastic seems quite resistant, although my headphones have a small dent in the plastic: small enough that it is not really visible. The soft parts that are under the top of the headphones (for make it more comfortable when worn) and around the on-ear sections are of good quality, the only downside is that they can get a little greasy (as I also expected). However, as mentioned, the headphones give you a headache after a while. I would give a 3.5 star rating. All in all I'd say the total $56 I spent on these was well spent I'd say any higher price for these wouldn't be worth it from an audio quality standpoint , but in terms of all the components these earphones have to offer, a maximum of $60 would be my trade-off for their value.
