Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 2 Wireless Gaming Headset for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S

So I decided to give him some time to use this headset before giving him a review. I've had it for a week or two now. I play Destiny2 a lot with my friend and my current headset, which I had with my Xbox, is more than a pain to wear with a bad mic and less than perfect sound quality I apologize in advance as this is a bit of a test review but I have also added ratings out of ten for each section so hope this helps I bought this headset after three weeks of reading reviews, watching reviews, comparing stats and lots of umming and ahhing . feels cheap. It's pretty much plastic and basic padding. It also marks very easily, mine was already slightly scratched when it arrived but as it was clear it would get more marked in the future I don't Wasn't too bothered. The controls are packed together and look messy and poorly designed. It doesn't really impress when you look at it, but compared to my current headset it's a massive upgrade. Fantastic headset for sound and noise cancellation, but I've always had issues using it wirelessly with Xbox (I should use the xbox app on my phone to party chat). I have to be honest, the sound quality is pretty close but I wouldn't use it for music sometimes some parts of the music aren't as clear or defined as with my Sony headphones so if I'm being honest I prefer my Sony headphones because they have more depth and definition. I love the superhuman hearing mode and admit that was a big selling point for me. It works great, especially when you need to be sneaky and sneaky. There have been some moments of sound dropping when listening to Spotify and in Game Play but nothing really noticeable and it only lasts for a split second I have to say playing Destiny2 with these was a game changer, music is so much clearer and the game is so much deeper, I feel more drawn in and it's really quite immersive. I didn't realize how good the soundtrack in this game was until I started using them. However, it doesn't block noise outdoors as well as I thought, maybe my Sony headphones spoiled me too much, but that wasn't too bad as I didn't buy them for the noise cancellation.8/10Comfort: I was very worried about this due to the many reviews i read, and they were right, it's quite tight, as i have a small head, it didn't bother me too much or cause me any pain, but i I'm not sure how others would handle it. Unlike my current gaming headset, it's super comfortable after a few minutes. I even forgot it was on at one point. The ear pads , despite looking cheap, are comfortable and the headband is comfortable too. 8/10 Connectivity: As these headsets are designed for use with the Xbox, I don Wasn't really worried about connecting it to my xbox except for reviews online. about communication issues. I have series X and Xbox One and they connect perfectly to each. They are so easy to connect and I haven't had any issues while using them. Honestly, I haven't no idea how and why others have struggled or had issues in this department. Now the process was seamless, so easy and one of the main reasons I didn't return it. 10/10Mic: I love the flip to mute, but if I'm being honest, I don't use it much when playing with my band. I also find it annoying that the slightest touch or scratching of my hair gives uncomfortable feedback, it's super sensitive. My friends tell me they can hear me very clearly and have commented in-game about how much better it is than before. So that's a positive. 9/10 Controls: So the design of these devices again feels cluttered and cheap. The plastic feel of this one is evident in use, it's a little disappointing, but it works like a dream. like being able to switch sound modes easily, not sure why the superhuman hearing mode is selected via the power button (seems to be a design flaw), but what I like the most is the easy to change chat volumes and game volumes so you can hear your friends much more clearly. 8/10 Sound software: I don't know why I expected more, but I was, the software is nice to watch but only gives you two sound options to play (unless there's more magically hidden somewhere) but as advised by the instructions I updated the firmware right after I got it out of the box and this process was quite easy and quick. The app itself will only used only for firmware updates and can simply be downloaded from app stores.4/10 Price:Honestly, there are many other headphones on the market that are more affordable and have the same technical stats.J opted for this make and model based primarily on its Xbox wireless compatibility. The only reason I didn't go with the Stealth 700 is that I won't be using it with anything other than my Xbox consoles (j 'm using my sony headphones for everything else). The external design and appearance makes it cheap and not worth the price. I don't know why it's so expensive, especially as stated above there is so many other variants with the same tech specs, lower price and better design. Personally after buying it I would say it's worth £50-60 not £90.6/10 Overall: this doesn't is not a bad headset used. The mic is clear although sound is great and immerses you in the game very well, but doesn't block outside noise well, so if you live in a noisy house it would be a waste of money for you. It's comfortable for long game sessions without issue (6 hours) despite its initial waterproofness and connecting to my consoles was more than easy. However, overall its design, features and price do not coincide. its cheap feeling. For nearly £100 this headset doesn't seem like it's worth it. I'm almost embarrassed about it and if I'm being really honest I wish I'd spent a bit more on one more attractive headset with less annoying mic and better sound (I like to listen to Spotify on xbox). Still it's great so far but I don't feel like it's going to last I have a sneaky suspicion that these reviews of its fragility are fair. If you want a helmet to look, feel and function don't like the money you paid for it, I wouldn't buy this one. I would invest in another headset. If you're not too concerned with the design and just want a headset with no connectivity from absurd console, semi-immersive sound and a clear mic, this may be just for you. Hope this helped you.
