Sennheiser GSP 370 Over-Ear Wireless Gaming Headset, Low Latency Bluetooth, Noise Canceling Mic, Mute Toggle, Audio Presets - PC, Mac, Windows & PS4 Compatible - Black

Update 2: I decided to give them a second chance after hearing from the new Sennheiser support group that they were working on the connectivity issues. Well, in early August I updated the firmware of the dongle, then headset (headset plugged into computer via USB cable for firmware update), and the issues I had are now gone. Range is now great - I can climb stairs and walk around and only having crackling (antenna orientation I believe), whereas before I couldn't walk 15ft away with a wall between the dongle and the headset without tons of static - even putting my arm on my head was blocking the signal enough to cause static electricity. No more! Firmware updates on the dongle and headset also fixed the issue where the headset could not reconnect to the dongle after a computer restart, or a fresh start, without unplugging the dongle and plugging it back in. Really, that was my biggest complaint with these, and I'm really glad they fixed it. I haven't noticed any increase in battery drain with firmware updates, or any loss of sound quality (mic included). (old) Update: Running dongle update, then updating headset, using Sennheiser gaming software, bricked the dongle. Big oof since I only tried updating day to repair connectivity on startup/restart issue. So the sound quality is quite good when using the presets. The microphone is better than the Logitech headset I had (the Discord self-test will mute in and out, but it doesn't translate to what others hear). Battery life is phenomenal - really, how do they do it? All day with it and watching movies, playing games, chatting with people on Discord and it drops 2% (yesterday from 86% at 84%). It's not great, and a microwave used nearby will cause them to crackle and burst. Same with refrigerator doors or other obstructions. Once, walking around the house (same floor as the computer/ dongle) about 15 feet away, the headset caused my mic output to go very high. Turning off the headset and turning it back on solved the problem. Software is terrible - (Update: Version 1.3.0.478 seems to have fixed this particular problem, and settings are now saved and restored after a reboot) it doesn't save your last selections (defaults to stereo and no default music preset. The software doesn't have its own icon in the bottom bar of the window like every other open app does, requiring you to minimize everything to see it or use the alt tab to return Every Once you restart or turn on your computer, you MUST remove the USB dongle and plug it back in once Windows has loaded to the desktop.Anything less than this will allow your GSP 370 to reconnect to the PC/dongle. connectivity could be fixed if Sennheiser cared, but with the length of time this product is out, you shouldn't expect them to. (Battery life may have something to do with it). have something to do with these issues, but if so then Sennheiser should just let the customer know)TLDR: if you want massive battery life, and I really mean it, battery life in headphones and you don't mind of having to unplug and then plug the dongle back in after every reboot (sleep mode too?) - these are for you. Not for you.
