Razer Kraken Tournament Edition THX 7.1 Surround Sound Gaming Headset: Retractable Noise Canceling Mic - USB DAC -

TLDR; I would go for another more expensive or better quality headset, I was expecting a bit more from Razer on this type of peripherals, they are not a big deal at least for the price I bought them ($2k ), if they get it cheaper it's surely worth it. It's worth it to many. The cooling gel is sometimes noticeable and sometimes not, the Razer Synapse software that's needed to get this headset to its full potential works or is a total nightmare. The drivers were also an eyesore, I had to reinstall them 3 times because Razer Synapse did some really weird things. The way they work is as follows: When connecting the headset with the usb input, the computer will automatically install the drivers and add 3 new audio output channels and one audio The 3 new audio channels are: Chat , Game and THX. It is recommended to set the THX channel to the default audio output for proper use of Razer Synapse, Chat and Game output that you decide in which application or game their respective audio output will be to manipulate it with the controller ( the headset THX volume box). This functionality in different tasks is extremely comfortable and I must admit that before I had to do it manually in Windows, but now with the headset I can have what I play at low volume and chat at high volume and change it when I want with the controller, I'm delighted with this function The quality of the microphone, which in my opinion is neither good nor bad, it's pretty average. Another thing, you might have a bad "taste" for audio quality like me, try these levels in the Razer Synapse EQ and activate the THX from the controller. The numbers I'm going to give below go left to right in EQ levels: 4 4 8 0 -6 -3 3 -6 8 8 So at least you'll have decent sound in video games and music, to discuss this type of audio I do not recommend. a more general audio the equalizer is to followYou: 2 4 2 0 3 0 5 2 8 6 I find this configuration much more comfortable for everything. Finally, the pads seem to me personally very comfortable, nothing to complain about, unless I use glasses, there if they bother a little. But hey, to be honest, I didn't find a headset comfortable when wearing glasses. I hope and it was helpful, greetings.
