BENGOO G9500 Gaming Headset for PS4 Xbox One PC Controller, In-Ear Headphones with 720° Noise Canceling Mic, Bi-color LED Light, Soft Memory Earmuffs for Gamecube Super Nintendo PS5

I thought these headphones wouldn't perform as well as they did. Even unboxing them they felt a bit flimsy...like they broke within a week. Honestly, I'm pretty tough on the gear and up 'now they have lasted with nothing cracking and breaking. First off let me start by saying the reason I bought them was not for gaming. I use them for video conferencing via Zoom, Teams and other things. I use them for training webinars and have attended Microsoft Ignite using them. I have created my own workout videos and also listen to music with. I play a few games using them, but that's not their only function. I'd probably look elsewhere for a professional gaming headset if that's your goal. When you're in a game, you really want the sound effects surround sound and sensitivity that could make the difference in a tournament. There are 3 ch dares that i really like in this headset.for one thing it has a little indicator light on the mic that tells you if it's active or not.that might not seem like a big deal, but it's huge when you don't know not if other people can't hear you because your mic isn't working, you're muted in the program/computer, or the presenter has muted you. It's just a nice little touch that I found it useful. The second thing I like is the in-line volume control which is easily accessible. It's not an original feature I know, but it's in a handy place on the cable and it's not a tiny little button you have to work on to turn up or down I find it easy to turn the volume up or down and find myself using it instead of the volume controls on the computer. The third thing I like about this headset is that there is a small button to mute the sound. Hold it! It's not a button, it's a switch. That's what I love about it. You don't press any buttons to mute or unmute. My last headset had a mute button and half of the time I wasn't sure if I was muting when pressing it or unmuting. With a switch it's just on or off - a no brainer. They seem to work quite well in other areas and the wiring seems to be holding up so far. Noise cancellation isn't the best, but it does a pretty decent job. The price, I'd say it's a pretty decent buy. If I had had more options for colors would have been nice, but I'm happy with what I got.
