Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Wireless Surround Sound Gaming Headset for Xbox One

The Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen1 for Xbox One S and Xbox One X arrived on time intact but with minimal packaging. Inside the package we find the headphones, a 70 cm long USB cable to be able to charging them, a little paper wrapper with a little sticker and instructions inside. I've been using them for almost 7 hours since they arrived and they haven't been downloaded yet. First of all, the earbuds need to be updated by connecting them to the computer via USB (no need to turn them on) and downloading the application from the Turtle Beach website. After updating them, they can be paired with the Xbox (as if you literally pair a new joystick). In case you want to pair the headset to an Xbox One different from the usual, you must turn on the headset and the Xbox in question, press and hold the pairing button on the headset until that you hear an acoustic noise coming from them ( da ns the illustrated instructions, it says that it must be held down for 3 seconds); then press the pairing button on the Xbox (after pressing it, the Xbox power button should start flashing). Once done, the headphones pair with the new Xbox and are ready to use (in summary, to use these headphones on a new Xbox, the pairing process only needs to be done for the first Note that the logo next to the pairing button on the headphones is the same as the one on Xbox and controllers. Try both on Xbox One S and Xbox One X and they work great. Here is a list of the particularities of these headphones: 1) in the Xbox house, after plugging in the headphones, an indicator (small in my opinion) appears next to the remaining battery charge of the joystick which indicates the remaining charge of the headset; 2) after turning on the Xbox and connecting to the profile, just turn on the headset by lightly pressing the power button (located in the left pavilion of the headset) until you hear a beep and the headset connects very quickly (a notification also appears in the Xbox dashboard indicating the connection with the headset). You can also turn on the Xbox with the joystick and then immediately after also the headphones (there is no need to wait until the Xbox is completely started and the profile has been accessed); 3) Headphones automatically turn off after Xbox is turned off!! No need to turn off manually (slight convenience); 4) mobile microphone which is deactivated by placing it in a vertical position. When the microphone is active, you can slightly hear the return of sound in the bells (nothing to worry about since in my case it is really minimal). My friends feel good .Voice-to-text transcription works great using Xbox chat; 5) in the left pavilion there are 2 buttons: one to turn on the headphones and the one next to it to choose the predefined audio modes. Simply press the sound mode button to scroll through the 4 available possibilities. Each time the 'we change audio mode, the helmet emits a sound which informs us which mode we are in: they are chosen in ascending order (we go from the first to the fourth) and each position is marked by a sound repeated several times (for example, the first time we press the button to change the audio mode, we will only hear a beep once, when we press again, we will hear a beep twice, when we press again, the helmet will emit 3 beeps in a row an acoustic signal); 6) I wear glasses and with these headphones I have no discomfort after about an hour of use. This happens because the fabric cushions that cover the chestpieces have two different densities. The part of the cushions that touches the temples glasses is much softer than the rest of the cushion, allowing less pressure on them. This is a really interesting tip for all glasses wearers. So far these are the only headphones I have found ( surely other manufacturers will have this idea too) to adopt this technique to less bother spectacle wearers after long use; 7) the headphones before completely discharging they warn with an acoustic signal repeated at intervals of about 5 minutes each (an Xbox notification also seems to warn that the batteries of the headphones are low): after the fourth time we hear the beep, the headphones turn off completely; 8) the headphones they seem to be built with plastics a little poor and when using you can hear some creaking of the plastic, I really hope this noise does not increase but settles down in a short time .After 10 months of use, these crackles are over; 9) Sometimes the headphones seem to scratch slightly with only a few sounds, but I think this is due to the Windows Sonic rather than the headphones. It's not just with these headphones that this happens to me. Great performance with Dolby Atmos on Xbox. It's worth spending those €10 (plus I had bought the license to use it when it was on sale) to have Dolby Atmos; 10) to charge the earbuds simply connect them via USB directly to the Xbox (they charge even if the earbuds are connected to a turned off Xbox One, regardless of whether it is set to "Power Saving" or "Power On Now" ”) and a red LED lights up next to the micro USB input of the headset to indicate that it is charging. The first charge made took just under 3 hours to complete (the indicator went from red to green); 11) the headset power button has two press modes: from off you have to press and hold the button a bit to make them turn on, while from power on just press one times (not holding) to activate Superhuman Hearing mode. To stop using this mode, press the power button again (without holding it down). power supply, the headphones turn off completely; 12) If you turn on the headset when Xbox is off, Xbox will also turn on. Verified on both Xbox One S and Xbox One X (if you have two Xbox Ones closed and off, Xbox paired with headset s 'alight); 13) Game audio and chat audio are independent and adjustable via the wheels placed on the left pavilion. 14) This headset (Stealth 600 Gen1) works exclusively with Xbox. They don't have bluetooth, can't connect to smartphone and can't be wired. You can use them on your PC through official Xbox Wireless Receiver (to be purchased separately, not included in the package). So far there are more positives than negatives. I really hope you get 15 hours of battery life. .The battery lasted just over 13 hours with the earbuds just over an hour a day.Furthermore, the earbuds also went two days without being used.By my standards, I should charge them about 2 times a day. months and it's acceptable as a trade-off. I would like to point out that full charge times on Xbox One X (off and in "Power Saving" mode) are less than 2 hours and 30 minutes. I would definitely repurchase these headphones.
