I don't know if this camera works because I can't get anything to work from the wifi connection to the app itself.1.Parts: In the box there are circular black foam parts and white parts inside. a small bag with no description of what they are. I think the foam pieces fit into the holes behind the antennae. Amazon photos say the white pieces are for waterproofing, but the way they go connect and where they connect is anyone's guess. I guessed the ethernet cord opening but they don't fit properly. 2. Connection: NONE. I downloaded the icsee app and after creating a name username/password I tried to add my device. The only clickable option was the QR code. Great. Only problem there are QR codes in the mini booklet and at least three on the box.I tried every QR but no go....the app then asked me to enter a number e serial. Again, nothing on the box specifically identifies the serial number, so I had to try all the different strings of numbers that could be the serial number. Of course, that then led to the task very tedious to try every possible QR with every possible serial. On every try I got an error saying make sure serial matches device.3. Email to Besdersec: quick reply with link to manual and note to disable 5G during setup. I did. The new manual they sent matches what I see on the app. I close the app and open it again to clear the things after turning off 5G and resetting the camera. App says password and login do not match. With what? I request a code, receive it and reset. App gives me the SAME message of error.WTH again!I just created the new password so I know clearly that I am between the voucher. Unable to enter due to an error message. I give up and create a new account with my husband's email address. Who knows if I will ever be able to access the app once i close it.4.Icsee app: Besdersec manual: Now that i am finally back in the app under the newly created profile, i follow the instructions in the manual and click on the add camera option wifi (NOT adding via QR). Guess what? That does nothing. Clicking on it highlights the button but doesn't open anything. Again, I'm stuck. To say I'm frustrated is an understatement. Nothing should be that hard. I sent another email to BESDERSEC to let them know that the click to add wifi doesn't open anything. Let's see what they say now .
