Bluetooth Headset,Wireless v5.0 Business Bluetooth Earpiece in Ear Lightweight Sweatproof Earphones with Mic Work for Cell Phones for Office/Workout/Driving
This one, believe me. I've been through several Bluetooth headsets (8 so far), different models, different manufacturers, but this one is by far the best. My search is over. I love the fit, it hooks to the back of the ear so no issues with it coming off and falling off or coming loose, and the earphone fits snugly in the ear. It's more like an earphone, it has a rubber tip that fits the ear so well, it's loud when turned on, so the first thing I have to do is turn it down. Everyone says the clarity is great, no distortion or problem hearing me (compared to using the Plantronics M180, people said I sounded muffled and couldn't hear myself hear, and I could never get it to stay in my ear, I always had to use the hook, and even then it would come loose, and I would have to continually try to reinsert it while it dangled from the hook). It's similar to my Plantronics Voyager, but without the mic arm dangling near your cheek, which made it harder to just throw it in your pocket without breaking it, and difficult to fish it out. It also had good sound quality, but I want an earbud that I can just throw in my shirt pocket and sometimes my shorts pocket and easily pull it out without damaging it. I was worried that this boom arm would affect the sound quality, but everyone says it's the clearest sound I've heard talking to them. It comes with a little case (shown above) for a little extra protection, and I usually use it, but no problem if I just throw it in my shirt pocket without the case. I've had it for 3 days, so I probably still have a few discoveries left, but it does everything I want a bluetooth earphone to do: handle phone calls, handle music (although I usually use my stereo bluetooth to music), allow voice commands. Plantronics tells me how many hours of battery life I have left, but I can see that if I go to my phone's Bluetooth settings and view Connections, where it shows % Battery Remaining below the device name. I often forget to turn my headset off when I'm done, so I can't just press the Plantronics button to see if I forgot to turn it off or not. If I take it off and press the power button, there's a blue (on) or red light or no light (off)... Or I can watch connected Bluetooth devices, or I can just press & hold the on/off button. It was called A8, I renamed it A8-Red, to differentiate it from other Bluetooth devices I've tried and haven't removed yet: M26-Blue, PLT_M180-White, AB-Shutter3, PLT_VoyagerPro , PLT_BB903+ (stereo headphones), etc. Summary: Ease of use, secure fit, sound quality = 2 inches up.
