Batterie - 1300mAh Li-ion
Battery FAQs
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN NICAD, NIMH AND LITHIUM ION BATTERIES?
NiMH (Nickel Metal Hydride)
and
NiCd (Nickel-cadmium)
, are two of the oldest chemistries. The main differences between the two types of batteries are capacity, memory effect and environmental friendliness. NiMH batteries have high capacity, no memory effect and are environmentally friendly. environment.
Li-ion
is currently the most popular chemistry. Li-ion batteries produce the same energy as Ni-MH batteries but are much lighter. This can make a noticeable difference in devices such as lawn mowers, medical devices, two-way radios, barcode scanners or laptop computers where the battery is a significant part of the total weight.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO UPGRADE THE DEVICE BATTERY TO NEWER CHEMISTRY?
NiCad, NiMH and Li-Ion are all fundamentally different from each other and can only be replaced if the device has been pre-configured to accept more than one type of battery chemistry.

MY NEW BATTERY WILL NOT CHARGE. IS IT DEFECTIVE?
Generally NO. New batteries are discharged and should be fully charged before use. It is recommended that you charge and fully discharge the new battery two to four times to allow it to reach its maximum rated capacity.
Overnight charging (approximately twelve hours) is generally recommended. It is normal for a battery to become warm to the touch during charging and discharging. When charging the battery for the first time, the device may indicate that charging is finished after only 10 or 15 minutes. This is normal with rechargeable batteries. New batteries are difficult for the device to charge; they have never been fully charged and have not been "broken". the device charger stops charging a new battery before it is fully charged. If this happens, remove the battery from the device and then reinsert it. The charging cycle should begin again. several times when charging the battery for the first time. Don't worry; this is perfectly normal.
Another scenario can be the BIOS interface. Sometimes your current system software is only configured to read an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) battery. If your BIOS has not been updated and you are not have used only OEM batteries in your unit, this may prevent the replacement battery from communicating effectively with your system software.
Visiting your manufacturer's website and locating the BIOS upgrade for your model may allow your replacement battery to perform as efficiently as your OEM battery. After the BIOS upgrade is complete, please recharge your battery for 12 hours and use it normally.
HOW CAN I MAXIMIZE MY BATTERY PERFORMANCE?
There are several steps you can take to help you get the most out of your battery:
Prevent Memory Effect - Keep the battery healthy by fully charging it and then fully discharging it at least once every two to three weeks. The exceptions to the rule are Li-Ion batteries which do not suffer from memory. memory effect. Keep batteries clean - It is a good idea to clean dirty battery contacts with a cotton swab and alcohol. This helps maintain a good connection between the battery and the portable device. Exercise the battery - Do not leave the battery on standby for long periods of time. We recommend that you use the battery at least once every two to three weeks. If a battery has not been used for a long time, perform the new battery break-in procedure described above.Battery Storage - If you do not plan to use the battery for a month or more, store it in a clean, dry, cool place away from direct sunlight. heat and metal objects .NiCad, NiMH and Li-Ion batteries will self-discharge during storage; remember to recharge the batteries before use. Sealed lead-acid (SLA) batteries should be kept fully charged during storage. achieved using special chargers. If you do not have a trickle charger, do not attempt to store SLA batteries for more than three months.
WHAT IS THE “MEMORY EFFECT”?
Memory effect
, also known as the battery effect, lazy battery effect, or battery memory, is an effect seen in rechargeable nickel-cadmium batteries that allows them to hold less of a charge.
WHAT ARE VOLTS AND MILLIAMP-HOURS (FOR EXAMPLE 10.8V - 4600MAH)?
Every battery has two ratings which are volts and ampere-hours (AH). of 4.6 Ah is equivalent to 4600 mAh). Ah hours are an estimate of the amount of energy a battery can store. Generally, the mAh value is also a measure of the number of hours a battery can last. For example, a 4600mAh battery will last at least 4.5 hours. The higher the power rating of a battery, the longer the battery life will be. It is not uncommon for some of our batteries have higher or lower current ratings. This will not cause any incompatibility.
Nominal voltages, however, should be within a reasonable range. For example, your original battery may read 3.6V, but you buy a 3.7V battery. This is still acceptable. The rule of thumb when 's voltage is never to exceed one volt more than your original rating. So if your original battery is rated at 3.6V, then you may be able to use a replacement battery up to 4.6 V and nothing more.
Runtimes vary for many reasons, such as type of device, type of applications used, whether or not you play a CD or DVD (etc.), and battery chemistry. medium should give you between 11⁄2 and 3 hours of battery life. Again, this varies for many reasons.
HOW LONG DO TYPICAL BATTERIES LAST?
The life of a battery under normal use is approximately 500 to 900 charge-discharge cycles. That's between a year and a half to three years of battery life for the average user. Of course, a more avid user may get a shorter life due to the frequency of charge-discharge cycles. As the rechargeable battery begins to fail, the battery's operating time at full charge will begin to decrease. When battery provides thirty minutes or less of a charge, it's time to replace it.
CAN I RECYCLE MY OLD BATTERY? HOW?
Yes, please visit

for more information.
HOW LONG WILL MY NEW BATTERY WORK?
Battery life on a laptop computer is difficult to determine. Actual battery run time will vary depending on the power demands made by the equipment. Monitor, hard drive, and other accessory usage results in additional battery consumption, effectively reducing its operating time.Total battery life also depends on the design of the equipment.
