Smart Auto - Scene Recognition
The 12-megapixel ST45 features a 2.7-inch QVGA (230K) TFT LCD display and Samsung's new "Smart Scene Recognition" technology. "Smart Scene Recognition" has 11 optimized picture presets such as Portrait, Night Portrait, Macro, Color Macro, helping people take the perfect shot no matter the conditions.You can also use these settings when sorting your photos, making it quick and easy to find all the images in portrait, location or macro shots you have taken.
Digital Image Stabilization/Self-Portrait and Frame Guide
The ST45 offers digital image stabilization to help you get sharp blur-free images. A highly sensitive ISO 3200 and Samsung's self-portrait and frame guide are included in the ultra-slim and light ST45, along with a host of other advanced features. Frame Guide means you no longer have to rely on the technological capabilities of strangers for those perfect vacation shots. When you use the setting, the camera takes a ghost shot of the photo you want and displays a pattern when you pass the camera to someone else - ensuring they always take the shot you want them to take once you're there.
Face detection
“Face Detection” locates the subject's face in the frame and automatically adjusts autofocus and auto exposure to ensure better composition and image quality for portraits; in “Blink Detection Mode” , the camera will take a series of photos when closed eyes are detected so that everyone is captured with their eyes open; in "Smile Mode", a photo is automatically taken when smiles are detected, and in "Smile Mode" from a beauty point of view", the skin of the face is retouched for a brighter and smoother complexion.
Smart Album – Digital Content Management
The ST45 features a new 'Smart Album' digital content management system; a content management program within the camera itself that dramatically reduces the time it takes to find a photo - so it's quick and easy store and manage your image collection. The smart browsing program automatically organizes your photos according to the date they were taken, their content, their color or their themes. Samsung is delighted to bolster its range of compact cameras with the launch of the sophisticated ST45.
