For many users, the notification LED is one of the most important factors when buying a phone. A small hole than one that can emit different bright colors without sacrificing battery life is really a handy feature.
On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Galaxy S smartphone, Samsung decided to completely remove the warning LED. A large part of Samsung fans did not like this decision.
Later, various unofficial sources confirmed that Samsung will bring an alternative warning LED via a future software update. The rumored implementation will be nothing more than a ring of light around the front clip of the device. photo.This ring light will change colors and lights, based on alerts.

Bassel Al - Hourani, an independent Android developer, has created Always On Edge - Edge Lighting - an app that provides edge lighting functionality. In the latest update (v3.7.0), the developer has added support for Charging Galaxy S10 series and their screenshots.
The app is described as "...A RIMIX between Edge Lighting & Notifications & AOD & Live Wallpaper & Edge Mask...". With the new changes, it now works as a perfect alternative to the warning LED on the Galaxy S10.
Users must first grant the necessary permissions to the app and then go through the setup wizard. The user interface looks a bit dated and confusing at first, but the app works well.

The app's Edge Lightning feature also works on the Galaxy S10.
Some users are concerned about AMOLED burn-in issues as a potential consequence of using the app.

Since the pixels change color and vitality, the chances of burning are skewed. Also, the cutout is probably separated from the screen.

The latest update to EdgeLighting+, a module of Samsung's Good Lock apps, brings support for camera lighting.
Keep in mind that the usual Edge Lighting limitations are still there, meaning the feature only works if a particular app is trying to wake up the screen.
