Headphone Battery Facts

Normally, headphones use rechargeable lithium-ion batteries.

The first time you charge new batteries should last at least 8 continuous hours, even if the battery indicates that it is charged, the first time you use it, you should consume all the charged capacity.

Approximately 4 hours is the time required to charge the empty battery to its full capacity.

While charging the Bluetooth headset and the battery continues to reach a high temperature above 35°C (95°F) and is not charged properly each time, you need to replace the battery.

The battery can drain quickly if your Bluetooth headset is not used for a long time, however, after a few charges the battery life will improve.

Avoid exposing your Bluetooth headset to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, sand, humidity, dust or mechanical shock as this will reduce its battery life and/or performance .

To avoid excessive battery drain when storing your wireless headphones for a long period of time, charge the battery to its full capacity once every 6 months.

The lifespan of all rechargeable batteries is about 500 times (full charges / full discharges), so if you feel the built-in rechargeable battery's lifespan greatly decreases during normal use, it means the battery should be replaced with a new one.

Do not leave your headset batteries still charging once fully charged, as this will reduce battery life.

(Please refer to the picture below to see the micro USB on the board side inside the helmet)

REMARK:

You need to use a magnifying glass like the one I use to see the 5 pins clearly (

check it is low prices

similar to the one I use), they are very small. If you have no idea how to open a headphone speaker, you can check out my other tutorial for

How to repair the speaker of a wireless headset

To solve this problem you have to disassemble the headset by removing the pad and open all the screws to see the circuit board like in the picture above and solder the 5 connection pins (or you can just without using extra solder, simply use the soldering tool to melt the solder from the existing pins this will connect the pins to the board and close the crack.

Sometimes the Apple headphone (AirPods) has issues with charging its base, as you know AirPods are designed to charge when you put them in the charging case and the idea is to keep an amount of charge suitable for multiple times of charging the AirPods. And although the base acts as a power bank for the AirPods, it rarely turns on when you try to charge the AirPods with or without the iPhone in the dock. home or even charging it separately by connecting the charging cable directly to the wall power.

hold power and volume up

Logitech wireless headset charging problem

Most of the charging issues with Logitech brand of wireless headphones are related to the micro USB connector that charges the battery of the headphones, the problem basically occurs due to normal daily use of the headphones and to be more specific, the problem occurred when the user connects the charging cable to the micro USB port of the headset and removes it after charging is complete.

This action of charging the headset overtime causes a slight defect inside the micro USB 5 pins which are soldered to the circuit board of the headset, and the only method to fix this problem at home is to disassemble the built-in. speaker that maintains micro USB charging. port and repair it as described above (Click on

Most of the previous points and details above apply to all wireless headphones including Sennheiser wireless headphones, but there is still additional information related to this product as it has its own specs and design, it is so better to read the information below in case of face. some difficulty charging their Sennheiser wireless products.

Why is my Sennheiser headset not charging (intermittent charging light)?

When the headphones are new, the charging light on the transmitter may appear intermittently, which is normal, so it will take a few charge cycles for the charging electronics in the headphones and transmitter to sync up and the problem will resolve.

REMARK:

Charging cycles mean using the headset (discharging) and charging the headset.

Headphones sometimes develop a problem (where the LED light and the electronics inside the circuit board) get out of sync, so the light won't turn on "as expected" or "stay on" after a full charge or will be "intermittent"

REMARK:

This can happen when:

Sennheiser headphones are "disconnected" from the power source for a period of time.

The batteries have been changed recently.

A power surge has occurred.

To resolve this issue, simply use your headset and charge it as normal, this will sync the LED and internal electronics and the issue will resolve itself.

Sometimes some Bose wireless or Bluetooth headphones have difficulty charging their batteries, however, there is a simple solution to this, just follow the steps below:

Turn on the Bose headphones.

Try charging your Bose headset, it should be charging and if not, try repeating the steps above.

REMARK:

If the above steps did not fix the Bose headset charging issue, the next step is to update its firmware.

To update Bose headset firmware to fix battery charging issues, follow the simple steps below:

Download the Bose updater to your PC from the Bose website.

Plug your Bose headphones into your PC.

Run the update file and follow the requested steps.
